Chiropractic Care for Your Pet
Dr. Laura McKeown was born and raised in Northumberland County. Dr. McKeown holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with an Honours in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University, formerly the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. She holds a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Dr. McKeown completed her Animal Chiropractic studies at the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre in Brantford, ON while in her fourth year at CMCC. The Animal Chiropractic Certification is a hands-on course with over 220 hours of study, with a focus on equine and canine health. Dr. McKeown started working full-time as an Animal Chiropractor in December 2020. Dr. McKeown has always been an animal lover. She began horseback riding at the age of eleven. Dr. McKeown’s dog Nova is a Northern Rescue from Manitoba. In her free time Dr. McKeown enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
