Theresa Rickerby | Owner

Theresa has been active in the pet industry since 1992, leading the way in education on  the benefits of responsible pet ownership and natural rearing for dogs and cats, including raw feeding, use of herbs and energetic healing for optimal healing.  She is certified in homeopathy and flower essences for dogs and cats . Theresa was the founder of People for Pitbulls, an education based rescue for maligned breeds and has organized and participated in public protests against breed specific legislation for all dogs.

Over the years Theresa has trained her dogs for flyball, scent work, agility, skijoring and some disc work. She has also participated in therapy work within the mental health community.

More recently Theresa has had the opportunity to provide coaching and training for other small businesses in the pet industry, participated in a safety course for kids and dogs and has written about children and grieving the loss of family pets.

Theresa’s love of animals has been a lifelong passion starting with her dog walking and dog marriage business back when she was just a child. Together with her youngest daughter and her son, Theresa is now experiencing the joy of horses.

Theresa lives here in Cobourg with her husband, 3 children, 3 little black and white dogs, her cat Panda and their 6 backyard chickens.

Heather Haraldsson-Glennie | Owner

When Heather saw that a new pet shop was opening up in Downtown Cobourg back in 2000, she wasted no time in getting her foot in the door. As a passionate animal lover, Heather knew she wanted to be a part of All Creatures Great & Small.  As the stores first employee Heather grew with All Creatures and became a partner in the business in 2004. Heather’s passion, creativity and eye for merchandising and product selection has been an asset to All Creatures from the beginning. Heather has been educating our community on the benefits of feeding  fresh, raw and whole foods to cats and dogs for over 18 years now and has been integral in product research and selection.

Heather and her daughter have also recently discovered the joy of horses and she is so pleased to be able to offer quality, natural equine products to our community.

Heather lives here in Cobourg with her husband, daughter and two little dogs.
